I distinctly dislike being recommended changes to texts or experiments that those who encourage fail to argue for (outside of their seniority and internal rules). Normative dominance does not deserve the light of day if it can't be used in court or debates, and it just makes my work worse. #academia
This is not a reviewer 2 problem, mostly.
