I did a short story in first person recently to see what it felt like and it turned out really well - leading off an anthology that comes out next week. The discipline of not flipping POV was really good for me. Whole novel though? Crikey…

Yeah. Having slept on it and compared the upsides and downsides for this project, I'm thinking I'll keep my first-person POVs for short fiction. Or at the very least, that first person isn't where this novel needs to be!
