Yeahā€¦ Iā€™m after A going to the right school for him in the context of where we are. Butā€¦ in terms of what it has resulted in, Iā€™d say a lot of stress and a tutoring industry!

Yepā€¦ itā€™s such an anachronism. Also add in this mix Kent and Medway doing their own things rather than one test, despite many kids going ā€œover the borderā€ as thatā€™s where their nearest viable school isā€¦ best of luck to Nico and you all next year!

It lives and breathes in various counties/boroughs/unitary authorities in England (poss Wales, too?) Heā€™s fineā€¦ not too bothered by it all and we have treats for tonight. But for others, the pressure is huge.

I am utterly delighted to be rehoming my sonā€™s 11+ notes in the recycling bin this evening, as day two of a two day testathon is DONE! As where I grew up went comprehensive decades ago, itā€™s such an odd thing to experience, on all the levels

Federal antitrust lawsuit launched 12 September against six commercial publishers of academic journals, including Elsevier & Wiley on behalf of scientists and scholars who allege that they 'conspired to unlawfully appropriate billions of dollars that would otherwise have funded scientific research.'
