OK, this is fun* There's a new tool which summarises House of Commons and Lords debates - putting them in the format of a WhatsApp chat You can toggle an AI-summarised response to see the original text too (*with the usual caveat: 'for political nerds like me') www.whatsard.co.uk

Without comment I offer the information that to get a refund from the student loans company one does not use their (actually quite good) website but instead must call, Facebook message or twitter DM them #studentloans

Ahh yes, I love a request stop as well it just feels oddly wholesome and cozy (I've just changed onto a line with them!)

That makes a lot more sense! It feels particularly galling when you can't buy a ticket to get off the train but you know that in theory it will stop and you *could* get off. I'm always filled with a little anxiety when I risk it even if I trust Real Time Trains more than most people.

And with the ability to buy tickets online so close to departure times if this is the case then I have more questions about how the information is relayed to drivers given the lack of WiFi/phone signal on most services!

I guess? Though I struggle to imagine that being the case at places like reading or Clapham junction. Especially the latter where people might just tap in at the last minute...
