I'm off to visit this bad boy tomorrow, and I'm embarrassingly excited for it.

The cover of the book Thr Corpus of Late Medieval Hanging-Bowls with an account of the bowls found in Scandinavia by Robert Bruce-Mitford and Sheila Raven. It has a largely yellow background with a series of pictures of Early Medieval hanging bowls. I wonder if Bruce-Mitford is one of those Mitfords?
