Here’s a second shot of the eclipse where you can see “Baily’s beads”… the sun shining through the mountains and valleys on the moon.
Wow. I’m guessing this is only possible because the moon has nearly no atmosphere?
Any recs for good spots to view the total eclipse on April? Will be based in Austin area.
