One of my cats has done this to every dog he's ever met. Looked right at my mom's tough Shepherd mix and slapped him across the face. (The dog visibly reassessed the pecking order and walked away.) Now he's 17, and when he's waiting for his food he passes the time by cruelly beating our dog Donut.
