We keep learning - I'm nearly 50 and only just learned about gelatine in toilet paper (UK) I consoled myself - this doesn't 'undo' the lives saved through not eating animals - I've now found 100% bamboo toilet paper. We do the best we can, be gentle with yourself when the municipality make ithard
Mindfulness medication etc can begin that process - but us humans arent naturals!
We are traumatising the already traumatised. Shame on us for our lack of compassion.

very important point . I raised the point recently that Adults with autism in residential care are excluded from some important developments in approach. I'm in touch with someone who developed tools to enable someone to communicate abuse - this tool needs expanding to cover so many areas of life
