Voisiko jollain pakkokeinolla palata kÀytÀntöön, ettÀ lehtijutun olennaisin asia kerrotaan otsikossa. Ja jatkuu siten, ettÀ ekassa kappaleessa tÀrkeimmÀt ja sitten kaikkea muuta. Se oli erinomainen tapa tehdÀ lehtijuttuja.

We discuss these transmission signals at length, also noting some globally recurring patterns that may signal shared ancestry. We note how string figures, as algorithmic/topological objects, may have been precursors to mathematical thinking and spurred the evolution of other string technologies.

This string figure is one that amazes me the most. It’s the Swan (qugjughuk), documented among the Copper Inuit by Knud Rasmussen in 1923–1924. The asymmetrical animal form is immensely complex to make (~30 intricate steps). [1/4]
