Not to brag, but I am a semi professional comedian. I’ve written sketch for some of the coolest comedy theatres in LA. So imagine my shock when the poli sci professor I was dating said, very magnanimously, “you know, you might actually be funnier than me.”

Yeah, but he committed much harder to his bit (being a guy who sucks in a career that sucks).

My eyes widened so fast and so hard my eyeballs dried out slightly.
