The crocodile. With scaly scales and a more or less flat green background because the old background shines through a bit but that's ok for me. Maybe even good.

The watercolor picture of the yellow mushroom I liked better. I put it in a frame and made a fancy photo with the brushes and the color pans I used.

It's the crocodile again but with some weird green background. The bird is still just the shape.

WIP gouache painting. There is a head of a crocodile, it has its mouth wide open. Inside is bird picking the teeth of the crocodile. Note that in reality there is no proof this actually happens.
The crocodile is painted in a blueish green, with the outlines of the scales and the eye in a dark shade. The inside of the mouth and the bird are in a fleshy pink. There is no background yet except a few loose pencil strokes.
