I’m looking forward to their return to Arizona for the winter.

A sandhill crane is leaping out of the water with its wings spread while the head of another is just visible as if to say, “look at that air time!” Feathers float on the water in the background adding a sparky effect.

Lucifer Hummingbird. Sierra Vista, Arizona. He would not cooperate and allow a pic that wasn’t on the feeder. Such a busy guy. Very brief sips at a feeder and then off to hide from the camera.
