Honestly i getcha. Goin to a con expecting friends to hangout just to flake sucks a lot. Dont blame ya for not enjoying cons because of that. Really best you can do before a con just arrange stuff with actual close friends to hangout with that you know for sure wont flake on you.

Thats why smaller-medium sized cons are better. Less running around and more of a focus on being with friends.
