Same way I draw honestly, start with a vague broad “sketch” and then do revision passes until it gets where it needs to be. My first writing “sketch” is writing down my goals for each character arc, theme, and moments I like that I want to include. Then I turn that into an outline, then script.

I remember my college film class had us do this for our stories so we could pitch them, and it was a good exercise! I’m still trying to work out how to describe mine but a combination of Dracula/The Count of Monte Cristo/Catcher in the Rye/Nimona works for now. 🧛♂️
