💜 I have that with my blood family, who say they care about me but who never mask and don't think to test or meaningfully isolate before wanting to spend time with me in person. The cognitive dissonance is just... staggering

And intellectually I can understand what’s happening, psychologically. Like I know their brains literally can’t cope, I get it. But that doesn’t really help me like…deal with it. Or not be angry that *I* am the one who has to figure out how to cope.
