Due to a repair snafu, I recently downgraded to a Pixel 6a from a Pixel 8. The 8 is a better phone, but the lack of a giant camera hump makes the 6a much easier to slide into a pocket, and that's no small thing.
Gorilla Glass is stronger than ever, but bare phone screens pick up those annoying micro-abrasions soooo quick. Makes you want to use a screen protector. Yet, edge to edge displays mean you're constantly feeling the edge of the protector if you don't use a case.
