"Power Word: Pain" takes on a whole new meaning
I really enjoyed the first couple of eps of Arco Trip. It's dumb and cute, but it's also got remarkable pacing. The episodes just fly by and they're just as long as anything else.
Throne and Liberty off to a disappointing start for me... can't even use spaces or underscore for the name... but you can use numbers.
MMOs need to stop with the unique name nonsense. If I gotta put in a name I don't really want to use, I'm already starting the game off less engaged than I would be with the name I wanted. Solutions exist. I don't need excuses.
That is surprising, but also really not that surprising given the actual content of Chainsaw Man.

The "Grieving Soul" anime is also another fantasy anime with a weak MC... bit odd to have two anime run side-by-side, but w/e. This one has a character who legitimately seems to be weak, albeit with exceptional luck. I think this one could at least be fun to watch even if it's nothing really new.
The "Talker" anime is kinda meh. The MC is a support class, but it's considered to be the "weakest" class... this is absurd, if you've ever played an RPG or watched Log Horizon you'll understand. The first ep doesn't do a great job setting up, hopefully the next one is better.
Hmm... posting anime reviews on Bluesky is tough given that anime names take up half the character limit...
