Odyssey definitely had some memorable moments for me. Wonder just kind of felt like another New Super Mario Bros. game with a bit more polish. I had fun with both! They were perfectly serviceable!

Same here, Wonder looked a bit better, and it did have unique gimmicks each level, but something about it wasn't super impressive to me. I felt they could have gone further with the art style. Especially after games like Rayman Origins. The level themes were also very similar to past Mario games.

that's fair, maybe the bar for 2D mario being interesting is so low that that's why wonder impressed me haha
