I believe we use social media to fulfill a human need to be seen. Yet, most of us are not seen, which creates a feeling of rejection that makes us try harder. We end up creating more for billionaires while we scream into the void. I want Bluesky to be different - more connection than content.
Please hire me to be your town sorcerer. I can stand on the roof and toss glitter at the moon. I can place acorn caps on the heads of tiny frogs. I can sit in the rafters of an old barn and whistle an uncanny tune. I can organize tea parties in the woods for local cryptids.
There are those for whom autumn is a season of sadness. They cling desperately to the green and the flowering. And then there are those of us who are autumn’s children. Those for whom the ever crisper weather portends a turning inward toward story, toward poetry, toward reflection and candlelight.
