FWIW, I’ve shot a lot of different bows (compound, recurve, traditional longbow) and as long as draw length and strength are good, they’ve all been fun to shoot.

I'm doing recurve, and I had just ... not expected the sheer range of options. I'm more used to sports equipment a la tennis, where there is definitely a less bewildering array of options. Or volleyball.
