If the model uses stable diffusion, the data is stolen. Do not pass go. Do not collect on your plagiarism machine.

if a diffusion model is trained from a clean slate with a non-plagiarized dataset, it would not contain plagiarized data. claims of this are dubious since this would take much longer to do... but as someone with a relevant background I see this mixed up a bunch in the discourse.
