Lunchposting. The thing about MSG is that it makes things taste better, and if you use it on something that's already tasty then it just tastes even better. If you then use that thing's fond to cook other stuff, then it makes that stuff taste even better. So that's how I made my lunch today.
Just did a skill assessment for a data analyst job, thinking that they'd ask me questions about stats. Instead it was mostly about reading charts and following sequences of numbers, and the hardest part was parsing MapQuest directions because I haven't had to do that in 15 years.
Woke up with a raging headache and immediately thought that it was the flu or COVID. Absolutely could not focus because the pain was so intense. "This is going to be a rough couple of weeks," and then I popped my neck and now I'm good as new. Just my bastard hypermobility pranking me again.

The way dialogue in Japanese games will flip between kanji usage and syllabaries depending on the character's personality, age, whether they've got a robotic voice or not, etc. is very cool but man is getting tripped up by it the easiest way for me to tell that I need a break.
S2E14 of X-Files, "Die Hand Die Verletzt," is peak X-Files. Blatantly supernatural, Mulder seeing some real fucked up shit, and Scully--the religious one--with eyes covered and ears plugged, saying "What? Huh?" while an incarnation of the Devil is ritually murdering kids.
