When I was hired as a spokesperson for a large company, I insisted that they only use my own voice with my animated likeness. They cancelled the project rather than pay me for extra days of voiceover. Basically they wanted to steal my image in perpetuity and put any words they wanted in my mouth.
They’re going with “shoot someone in 5th avenue” vibes and it’s not going to work out for them.

I’d love to see a campaign for people to cancel a streaming service for a month and send that to the writers and actors instead. Take money out of the capital class and give it directly to labor.
