I get that people are sick of Twitter bullshit. But on the other hand a multimillionaire with a still-hugely-influential platform leaning hard into bigoted extremism in a volatile environment is kind of news and a real problem.

It’s legitimately a good thing he’s technically ineligible to run for president.

Remember the Trump years? He was a master at doing things so over the top ridiculous, so vile, and so extreme that he’d be in the top of the news every single day. It’s like a DDoS attack on your brain. Musk is clearly trying to do the same thing and I hope he fails.

It just feels like he’s now trolling us on a platform we went to in order to escape his trolling. I agree with @ipmonger.bsky.social - it’s not news and it’s not really actionable other than get off there and don’t let him determine the narrative here.
