This is like if Alan Rickman asked Bruce Willis in Die Hard to pretty please pull him back up into the building so he’d have a clearer shot
I always chuckle when I read articles and opinion pieces that seem to insist "democrats will have to help"
Love that Christmas movie
Yippee kai-yay
We’re maybe a day away from them saying failing to help them fix their mess is proof the Democrats don’t care about Israel
But how long will Congress remain 'Speaker-less' if the Democrats do nothing? And is this wise in the current moment of crisis? Just wondering.
Knowing House dems - they just might help.
Apropos of nothing political, we watched the "making of beloved movies" tv show on Netflix a little while back: Rickman actually did that drop stunt himself, and he was very nervous about it. They reassured him, rigged him up over the mats, said "we go on 3", and dropped him on 2.
There are unity governments, but they require the majority/plurality party to provide incentives to the junior coalition partner. As far as I can tell, the GOP offer to Dems for cooperation is Judge Smails' "you'll get nothing and like it." www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f6l...
The Republicans are mad because the Democrats aren't the chumps, wimps, and weaklings they've been in the past.
I love the way they keep demanding the Democrats help without offering anything in return. Fortunately Chuck Schumer isn’t in the House.
