“Some of the more vigorous criticisms of President Trump’s foreigner internment camps do not demonstrate a respect for free speech culture and the value of healthy debate,” March 2025 in Reason.
On FB, I posted about the lifelong Republican in Springfield now getting death threats bc he had good things to say about his Haitian employees, and wondered whether MAGAts might have buyer's remorse with Trump 2. Predictably, MAGAts on my feed don't think the leopards will eat THEIR faces. 🙄
/2 “When critics call the camps, with their unfortunate death rate and less-than-ideal conditions “racist,” aren’t they shutting down reasoned debate about immigration policy? We did a Zoom discussion with Chris Rufo and Peter Brimelow.”
I'm guessing the person concerned about lack of respect for healthy debate is not concerned about being involuntarily relocated to one of these camps. Just a guess.

They don't know what's waiting for them
Yes, let us not disrespect mass imprisonment of innocent citizens on racial grounds and of political opponents on ideological ground. Because if we do, we'll just end up disrespecting extermination camps. Heaven forfend that we offend Reason Magazine!

Well it’s nice to know someone is going to look out for the concentration camp victims.
