One striking moment in the argument was how animated Justice Thomas was -- not about the potential miscarriage of justice, but at the idea that prosecutors originally involved in the case didn't get a chance to defend their conduct, almost as if THEY somehow suffered a due process violation:

Better a hundred innocent men be lethally injected than two prosecutors be impugned -- That is the 'standard' of today's corrupt SCOTUS. Those bawbags need to be dismissed ASAP.

Or 'kill 'em all and let god sort it out" justice.

Stupid but serious question: What happens if a lawyer says something like, "Their misconduct certainly justifies any diminishment of their professional reputation, much like yourself your honor?"

If I win the lottery (which is extremely unlikely because I don't play), I plan to go to law school, become a lawyer, get admitted to the SCOTUS bar, and argue a case there, just so I can answer a question with, "no, Justice Thomas, that's not a pub hair in my Diet Coke."
