my last job had a "vice president of product innovation" (I do not think there was a president of it), the most bullshit title given to the most bullshit person who never contributed anything of value and wasted tons of company money getting involved with other bullshit companies

I imagine that position being going to meetings and saying “what if we did (thing they read on X that is the current buzz technology/software) here? Could any of you shoehorn it in so I can say on LinkedIn that I spearheaded it?”
