Last week (I think) someone posted about some training they'd done with their dept marking maths gcse questions. There were bar charts showing the variation in the scores. Anyone know who it was? It might have been on here or possibly X!!

I contacted all of our prospective Y12s during the summer giving them strict instructions to not buy one online. We bought a load from the supplier when the new one came out so we're still able to sell them. Next year will have to be the new one 😢

And the wording for the area of a trapezium could do with being changed too

Basically don't buy this version online. It will be fake. The market has been flooded with them because of the negative reactions to the new model

The first time we noticed one was cos it was giving wrong answers when solving quadratics. Another one, went to put a battery in and found it was just a plastic space behind the cover, no metal connections so no way to power it
