Enough, already: why humanity must get on board with the concept of ‘sufficiency’

Sufficiency is a new approach to solving humanity’s consumption problems. It’s about using less, ensuring wellbeing for all humans, and staying within planetary boundaries.

Can someone please convince the UK Chancellor Labour’s Rachel Reeves to change her “Growth” goal to “Sufficiency”? British 🇬🇧 sovereignty and all that. Better public transport, internet, and less but better locally made or repaired clothes. British grown food.

I totally agree with this ideal, and I also am totally certain that "voluntary restraint" has never been a politically viable proposal, not once, in all of human history.
