In this post I introduce scripts to improve copying a Direct Lake semantic model to another workspace using Microsoft Fabric Git integration.
Heads up - Fabric Git integration doesn't support Direct Lake. I discovered this when I wrote the article for TE about Direct Lake bim/tmdl w/ Git integration. Confirmed to me today that it won't work (even if it might have in the past). This is also why we haven't published that article.
