Very, very weird and super disappointing. I have this giant Viking I piece showing Valles Marineris on my wall I bought a number of years ago at the event, and was looking forward to going again. It sucks that they’re permissive of art derived from theft, so I’ll skip! This was helpful to see.

I agree! In fact I phrased my question as “wanted to make sure generated images were not allowed” and was shocked by the response. If things change, I’ll be sure to spread the word. Nice, that art piece sounds awesome! I bought a neat oil painting of the Keck Telescopes that’s in our living room.
