Unfortunately, that likely applies to the next *several* elections as well. Because these people are not likely to disappear after just a couple losses, and they only need to take control once.
2 or 3 elections. As horrible as DJT is, he is not ‘the one’. Whoever that is (and I actually don’t know who that would) will need 5-10 years to ramp up their presence from scratch. Which at least still gives some time to destroy the political machinery, & people that would allow it to be possible.
