I've gotten two congratulatory notes from Sherrod Brown over the years -- just short little letters, but they were handwritten and very thoughtful all the same. Sherrod Brown is, indeed, pretty great.
My sister-in-law was the caterer for a fundraising dinner for Brown in 2018. He called her the next day to thank her.
Sherrod Brown has been doing this for a very long time. I got a handwritten note from him in the early 1990s when I covered him for a suburban Cleveland newspaper. It was so nice and unexpected.
