Harris is the vice president in the most pro-union administration ever, while Trump is an anti-union scab. This should have been the easiest endorsement a union could ever make, but the Teamsters couldn’t qwhite bring themselves to do it.
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters declined to endorse a presidential candidate after releasing internal polling that showed a majority of its members supported Donald Trump. It’s the first time in nearly three decades that the union has not endorsed a presidential candidate.

Horrendous decision
Biden spent $36bn in federal funds to bail out the Teamster’s pension plan. Trump did nothing to protect them. Without the Democrats, these guys would be retiring to a life spent living under a bridge and eating expired cat food.
This makes me so sad. But also it's not a total surprise. I remember my father working on the history of unions in Chicago in the 1910s and 1920s.
When the head of the Union is very much pro-Trump and currently facing a lot of internal turmoil, this was totally not surprising at all. Disappointing, but not surprising.
We should remember it when they come next with a begging bowl seeking support from govt for their jobs, benefits, pensions etc.
Teamsters aren't a homogenous group; they're not all white men. Also, I don't get it. More union members identify as Dems over Repubs. www.pewresearch.org/politics/202...
Democrats have an edge among registered voters in the lowest and highest income tiers, union members and voters who rent their home.
Someone’s feels got hurt by not being invited to the party.
