Automattic's position goes way beyond the PostGres policy you linked to. In particular they strongly imply that using the trademark on products *derived* from PostGres is acceptable.

The PostgreSQL license allows nominative use of the trademark for derived products, but not as a primary description. So, it's "AWS Aurora with PostgreSQL Compatibility," but not "AWS Aurora PostgreSQL."
