This is always a funny question for me. On one reading, I went straight through: philosophy (BA), philosophy (MA), philosophy (PhD). But, when I started as an undergrad I wanted to do continental philosophy. Now, a lot of philosophers think I do science (correct) and not philosophy (incorrect).

Question: If you have a degree beyond your undergraduate degree, did you switch disciplines/fields? If so, what was the progression of your disciplines? Example: I am a chemical engineer (undergraduate) turned economist of technical change (Masters) turned political scientist/human geographer (PhD)
