I definitely fall into the first category lol. I really want to play the Souls games, but I just don't know if I have the skill and/or patience 😅

Souls games are a... journey. You will die alot, its just part of the experience. There are some bosses that will have you die a dozen times before you get them to their halfway point only for a second copy to show up at full hp, making you rage quit, but theres no greater high when you beat them
