I think your timeline’s off (or I’m confused) Bluesky predates the Twitter sale to Elon, which itself was more about the board selling than Jack Dorsey

Thinking about it more: my utility has a dedicated program to cheaply add a 2nd meter at a parking spot for an EVSE. They even let you put that meter on time of use rate while your main house stays on the normal plan. So many good options…

Not to mention that a number of buildings by me have a collection of 50+ gas meters all together on one side of the building. There’s 50+ individual gas pipes fanning out (often to the opposite side) behind the walls too

And as absurd as that sounds on its face (not to you, I know), consider that most multifamily buildings already have a centralized meter room (often near the garage) where every unit unit is already connected. It’s probably less work to run individual circuits to the garage than to the units
