1. Fiasco Before playing Fiasco, I had a narrow preconception of what TTRPGs could be like. Playing Fiasco was the first time I let myself be more receptive to what the art form could do, even if it’s a relatively subdued example.

2. Mythender Probably the game that most influenced how I approach TTRPGs, as a host, as a guest, and a putative designer. Its mythic fantasy, its operatic focus on power as corruption, its mechanical basis, and its understanding of feel over numbers, are all great examples of my tastes in general.
