I think I can say with a clean conscience I’m not a shameless biden shill but to me the main reason you vote for him is the opportunity to vote for somebody better in 2028 will not exist if he loses

A lot of people will not be alive for 2028 if Biden wins. This is a NOW situation for a lot of people.
There will not be a better candidate in 2028. There will just be more and more conservative options until the system collapses.

This is absolutely how I feel. I'm calling and writing Congress, the White House, the Democratic party telling them to kick Biden to the curb and select a more progressive candidate. I'll vote for someone else in the primaries. But in November, if Biden is the nominee, that's who I'm voting for.
I agree, but my question is, once Biden wins, what are dems going to do so we’re not in the same situation in 2028? Eventually, we will lose so if we don’t want that to be the end, we should probably treat fixing the system as just as urgently as winning the next election
