Good morning, Womble. My phone just autocorrected you to Wimbledon - seemed appropriate enough. I am reading Anne of Avonlea by L M Montgomery and have just finished listening to Parable of the Sower by Octavia E Butler. Such a powerful writer and a Lynne Thigpen narrates brilliantly.
Time to put away my summer perfume and dig out my autumn scent. Some people do that with the clothes in their wardrobe, but this is England, so layers work for me all year round.
I’d love to, but I don’t have any pictures of my (illegal immigrant) great grandfather 🥺
OK, I’m weird. I LOVE admin days - so much so that I do admin every Monday to start my week off right 😇
Related to the previous: I would love to follow more mythology specialists of all kinds, esp those focussed on creatures of various mytholgies and follklores (anywhere in the world)....academics and just general nerds all good!
It’s only spreadsheet autumn. Real autumn doesn’t begin for another three weeks.
It’s not the size that bothers me so much as the speed. I swear some of our spiders wear spiked running shoes.
You have my sympathy. Had a double tooth removed yesterday and my face is still tingling from the anaesthetic. The underside of my tongue is bruised and aches like … no polite words. Can’t have liqueur because kidneys.
Gotta love a Corg!
