My basic booch recipe is 6 c water, 6 tea bags, 1/2 c sugar, 1/2 c starter tea and SCOBY. Cocktail recipe is 1 c cherry booch, 2 oz gin, ice, top with some seltzer water and a sprig of mint. Very refreshing! And healthy (ish)!
Assuming you already know how to make basic kombucha, I add 1 c pitted dark cherries for the 2nd fermentation and let it sit loosely covered for 3-4 days. After that, remove the cherries and transfer to tightly covered container(s) to carbonate for 1-2 days at room temp and then store in fridge.
