so uh yeah... we apparently had to replace a $400 module because the tab on one microswitch broke... it's the alps SPVQ1 series (waterproof / sealed), and the lever arms apparently just break off in some conditions?

I'm pretty sure it's semi-custom because the mounting on the microswitches is directly plastic over-molded on the wires. it's honestly really impressive stuff.
