NGL - I'm kind of looking forward to five days of NOTHING (which doesn't start until tomorrow, so technically, 5.5 days!).
This last pay period (9/15-9/28) I worked 128.75 hours. No wonder I'm so tired...and no wonder I ended up catching COVID. Between always being there and being run down, I didn't stand a chance.
Clients: WE DEMAND COVID TESTS FOR ALL OF US! Me whispering to co-workers: When do you think they'll figure out that staff are the ones primarily spreading it since we rotate through all the units all the time? #COVID#COVID19#COVIDpositive#plague
Overheard just now in a documentary: "Thank you for using Securus. Goodbye." TRIGGERED. ๐
COVID is going around work! ๐
Shoutout to my love, Daniel. He waited up for me last night so we could spend some time together (we've barely seen each other in over a week), and today he is using his morning/afternoon off to replace my SUV's rear wheel bearings! ๐ฅฐ
In 2.5 days I clocked 40.5 hours. It isn't my job's fault - it's mine. The drive to keep my family "safe" (financially) makes making money more important than having a day to myself. I'm working on it - I have only 98 hours this last pay period versus the previous pay period's 117.
I'm telling all my coworkers it's Bring Your Mother To Work Day, and she's in my car, but no, I don't need to crack the window for her. ๐
