i honestly am getting tired of the sheer torrent of anti-intellectual “please educate me” types here, i don’t know how anyone copes? google is such a nice thing it’s a shame nobody remembers how to use it

I don't think I really mind people who ask with the intention of being educated, even if that's rare cause people who want to be educated tend to just look it up. people who "ask questions" often aren't talking to whoever they're "replying" to; they're trying to imply something for their audience.

e.g. what’s tpot? why is the hate group filter a thing? why doesn’t my mother love me? why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food?
