Migrant workers have been in Singapore for years, DECADES. That the dorm operators are talking as if this most basic shit is mind-blowing is shameful and embarrassing.

It also came as a shock that residents wanted mattresses, because operators traditionally do not receive complaints about mattresses, and workers rarely buy their own, he said.”
