One consistent thing with this bit of anecdata is that the MAGA signs seem to be as strong as ever in wealthier areas but less so in more working class ones
just got back from central florida saw a few billboards, but only saw signs on a bar and two bumper stickers total and one of those cars had NY plates
HVAC contractor, car dealership owner types were always the true base.
I’m on vacation in Elise Stefanie’s district right now and there are Trump signs here and there but I’m not seeing any bumper stickers. Don’t see any Harris stuff at all tho
I only see Trump stuff out in the horse country part of Baltimore County or on bumper stickers of guys who live here in the denser suburbs but have Delaware plates, this tracks
It’s almost like trumps time in office didn’t help the working class people he courted in 2016 and his base has changed but that can’t be correct because working class people are ignorant followers who don’t know any better (or so the Times told me so).
Also anecdata, but I was driving through rural Wisconsin earlier this summer and there was a *lot* more Biden signage than even 4 years ago. Felt like the fever had broken a bit.
there are three of them in my part of alexandria/Fairfax (and they're all in Sam Alito's part of the neighborhood).
Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts It's all they care about
The only two MAGA signs in my neighborhood are in the front yard of the two biggest houses on the golf course.
