Daughter wants to leave Sydney ASAP due to an ugly situation with friends she is visiting. Cheap flight in the morning to the Gold Coast. I offered to pick her up & have breakfast with her. Of course I didnā€™t think about daylight saving. I need to leave home at 5:30am. šŸ˜³šŸ˜–

Spouse and I have a difficult road ahead of us. Not surprising since we have a hard road behind us.

Been reading lots of relationship articles, and they all seem to only make sense for neurotypicals. Yes we all have issues, but the underlying causes and ways to fix them are different. #AuDHD

Today I learned that P.L. Travers, author of the Mary Poppins books, was born in Maryborough, Queensland. A bronze Mary Poppins statue stands outside the bank her father worked at (now ā€˜The Story Bankā€™ museum), but I was especially taken with the customised pedestrian crossing. #books#MaryPoppins

Bronze statue of Mary Poppins, umbrella aloft, on the footpath outside an old bank building in Maryborough, Queensland.
Pedestrian crossing button on pole with associated sticker indicating crossing rules with a silhouette of Mary Poppins, complete with umbrella.
Pedestrian crossing signal on street corner in Maryborough, Queensland. The signal light is showing a customised red silhouette of Mary Poppins, holding a folded umbrella at her side to indicate she is not moving.

Artist Chelo depicts what we see - and what we don't see - on social media. I like the full-circle nature of this comic. Source: www.instagram.com/monero_chelo...#art#socialmedia

Various characters sharing photos from their lives on the Internet. Each person shares something that the next feels is missing for them. It goes full circle where the last person is missing.
