There was a debate in Spanish America at the same time about the start of the calendar week, Sunday or Monday. I forget the details but it's bound up with debates over religious toleration, the Scio version of gospel, the apocrypha, etc
I know one of the journal conglomerates has had a cyber attack that froze the pipeline but that happened in spring so maybe not the issue here.
